Today was a day... we went and played soccer then went to Modelo, which is like the Costco here but in the states, it would be a farmer’s market. We went there to print off photos and to buy shoes. Well none of the shoes were my size so I watched my companion buy shoes for like an hour. The shoes here are SOO EXPENSIVE! Like 500 sloes! I have never seen the opportunity to use so much money in one spot! But then again 500 soles is like 120 dollars.... but still. They had Ferrari shoes that looked so cool! Well we came back to the room, one sunburnt and the other poor. I did buy a Peru soccer jersey so I’m happy about that! We went to call the family and my nerves were so fried. FIRST, thank you mom for your patience and the positive outlook you had the whole time! You are a saint and I love you! I love you all so much and I’m really working on being more humble in every aspect. I love you good night!

Today was a really good day, we did not have many visits but the one we had was really good! She understood very well and wanted to hear more. Her grandpa got home and said some bad things to us and about us. He doesn't like us at all. We ended with a prayer and we got out of there. We then went to the offices to pick up our materials and it turns out I got my package, and I love it! thank you mom.

Today was a good day, we did not have many visits, but we talked with a lot of new people. At the end of the day we had a visit with a family, and it went so well. we had members with us and they shared their conversion story and how they left he Catholic church and chose to be members in the church of Christ. I loved it so much. We also had our interviews with president today, it went really well, we usually talk more about the other elders. It was a really good day; I love you good night

Well today was an awesome day, I saw a guy who dropped a welder on his hand and it was soooo burnt and purple and it was a sight to see! I’m also with Elder Garcia from Bolivia, and he is an amazing elder! I was in my taxi today pondering the thought of why did Christ perform such an over the top sacrifices for us, or for me-- for me personally a  man full of sin in mind, in word, and in action, he came here to live a life perfectly to end it at the ripe young age of 34 more or less. But WHY? That's like taking the ACT and getting a PERFECT SCORE than swapping tests with someone who got a 13. If it was not for Jesus Christ, then death would be the end of it all. But then I learned, thanks to him we can live again, in a state of never-ending happiness with our family or misery depending on how we lived here on earth. He went through the pain because he saw us as worth the investment. Like a mom pays money for her kid to take piano lessons, same way Christ paid for our sins, the most expensive piano lessons or sacrifice in the whole universe and among all worlds. We just have to practice or Repent. We can show our appreciation by our dedication to the commandments and with our sincere repentance. I love you good night

Today was a really good day, we ended our intercombio ad had many visits with people. We are having problems finding people after the first visit. So, we just keep finding new people to teach so we have lessons. Well it’s a good and bad situation. We had a devotional from Elder Jeffery R Holland and I loved it so much! He said his testimony in a rough broken Spanish, but the spirit was so strong, and I really hope everyone loved it just as much as I did! I love you good night

Today was a really good day, we taught Segundo and he is so funny! He was telling us stories of from his sins and his car crash. He is the guy who welded his hand and it looks really painful. He does want to get baptized. We then had a lesson with MOSES and his family. This lesson was so powerful, I loved it so much. Afterwards, they invited us to bread with cheese, and ecco (the classic Peruvian dinner). The cheese here is soooooo good. I love you good night

Well today was a really good day. It was election day here in Peru, so no one went to work and also there was no church. Some elders called us because they were having difficulties, I won’t say names or details because it was pretty personal. But I separated the two, talked with one and later the other. As I was speaking to one elder, I asked him why he got so mad with himself. As I did, he started to cry. It was the first time anyone had noticed his feelings and asked him about them. He had never had friends at home and even his parents didn’t talk to him much. A real middle child syndrome. He opened up a lot to me and I was able to help him. It was such a spiritual experience and influenced completely by the Holy Ghost. After that we had a lot of lessons, in the first one the kid LOVES basketball, so I talked about the little knowledge that I have about it. He then told us Kobe died. That was rough.... it was a good day; I love you good night.
