Dec 15th-24th

15 de deciembre Today was a good day, although it was my first day in the mission without a single investigator at church, we got the great opportunity to serve. We got home from church and our land lord asked if we could help take out a wall. So we got our sledge hammers and chisel and went to town on it! Afterwards we went to have a lesson but she was not home... so we went and cut corn. It was a place where they had knives and cut the corn off the husk and put it into a big bucket. They did not trust the gringo with a knife so I did it by hand. Well when they got up to move the big bucket this eagle scout took their knife so I could be like them. Well first things first the knife went right into my hand! It was not bad but it did not feel good. Ha-ha we have the 25 nights of Christmas this month so 25 family home evenings. We had a really nice FHE tonight. I love you good night 16 de deciembre Today was a good day, we woke up and did a deep clean on the room, then we went ...

Dec 10th-14th

10 de deciembre Well folks we are moving in on Christmas! Today was a good day, we went to the offices to get some books and cards for some of the areas and so I could talk to president. It went really well, so we then went and had district council and yeah it was alright.... we had to fill out the arqueo as well and I’m pretty sure I messed it up but I sent it in anyway. We did not have any lessons today with the people we are preparing to be baptized, but we did find some new people and it was awesome how the Lord put them in our path. One example- we knocked on a door and the person in the 3rd floor on the other side of the road said, “Hey They are not home.” So we started talking to her and she is now a new person we are teaching. She has never talked to missionaries before and it's probably because she lives on the third floor! I love you good night 11 de deciembre Today I got to know Elder Hastings, he's from Las Vegas and loves computer games. He only has 2 wee...

18 de noviembre Well today we had super p'day so the mission got together to play! I got to see elder Huff and we played some rugby games which I LOVED! I really think I’m going to go out for a team when I get home! Maybe.. It was a ton of fun and i liked it a lot. Afterwards we went and wrote to our families which was really great! it's always nice to talk with you all. We then went to a birthday party for a 3 year old and it was so much fun. We watched them run, play, beat the crap out of their cousin along with the TV. We ate cake and went on teaching. A lot of people today said we, as missionaries make money when we baptize someone. We corrected them, but then Ii just felt so bad inside that people think I'm making money and not serving them. I love you good night 19 de noviembre Today we went and visited Alejandro and it went so well! We watched a video and he said he liked it a lot and is super ready to get baptized this week. We then went to the offices and...

Nov 5th-17th

5 de Noviembre 2019 Well you know what day it is! ELECTION DAY! WOOOO-WOO-WOO-WOO! Ha-ha! Nah- I'm just kidding happy birthday mom! I love you to the moon and back. I have always loved and admired you, your testimony, and your ability to always find some way to clean the house just a little more! Ha-ha!  One thing I love and admire about you are our little memories, like when you would carry me to the car so I would wake up on an adventure, or when we would shout are you happy H'A'P'P'Y... aliens! Ha-ha-ha! I love the time when I hated my first grade teacher and you were more than willing to let me skip school and go shopping with you and sometimes go to the movies. But I do think that this rationalization may have caused some of my bad reading and spelling skills! Ha-ha! I remember the time I looked at you and said ̈she made a kid pee himself, I’m not going through that too!¨And you were like okay, don't go to school!̈ ̈The endless support you give me in ...

October 29th-November 1st

29 de Octubre Today I went back to the computer cafe because I forgot this typing thing there. When the owner saw that no one had taken it after a whole day and night his jaw dropped to the floor! You would think that in a third world country if they saw a laptop looking thing they would take it. Well anyway, we went to visit Alejandro and he wasn't home so we went to a service opportunity. That was fun, we just washed her dishes. We then went to the offices and here we got 6 packages for the zone, one of which was my shirts. I didn't realize how worn out my shirts were and also at how broken they are! But when I saw those shirts... it was a loose shirt of most exquisite whiteness. It was a whiteness beyond anything earthly I had ever seen, nor do I believe that any earthly thing could be made to appear so exceedingly white and brilliant. I took it out of the box and by the flick of my wrists I twirled it around my shoulders as it smoothly descended upon my back. It was a p...
