Feb 18, 2019 Be better today than yesterday. What a day, we got up and had a good breakfast and we washed our clothes, when we were studying we received a call from the district leaders that the prophet received revelation that missionaries can have the opportunity to call family and are allowed to govern themselves with the time! In the past it was 1 hour to email mom, report to the mission president, respond to other emails of missionary updates or friends, and if time allowed send out a weekly report which I try to do every week! This was the best way to learn how to type 70 words a minute! We then went to Chiclayo to play futbol with some elders. I got sun burnt, then had some chicken roasted and French fries! We came back at with eager anticipation and went to write to our families! I was glad to have a little more time to type because I had 3 weeks saved up due to me forgetting my cord in Bagua. Feb 11, 2019 Be better today than yesterday. Today was an awesome day! We got up and had breakfast then went shopping, I spent 8 soles on floss... that is the equivalent of 8 dollars! For dental floss! So, 20 soles of my 100 this month was floss and deodorant. Then we came to the room and cleaned it really well, went and typed our families and had another free lunch! It’s an inactive member who owns a restaurant. We took a cat nap and headed to Motupe for a district meeting, that was a joke. With changes in companionships today the Elders were not focused. We came back and got ready to go teach and found a woman and 7 kids who are interested in the church! We have a lesson with them tomorrow! Great day I love you goodnight! January 25 , 2019 Today I was better today than I was yesterday. Today was a busy day! Not a lot of lessons but a lot of work. We went to Bagua Grande to end an interchange I had with E. Moron, there we also did a planifecar seminar and a baptism interview for the zone leaders. We headed on back to Chica and continued our work, we went contacting and taught a lesson to a family that the parents belong to different religions. That was a difficult lesson... we then went and checked in on Jacory because her baptism is tomorrow, and I’m baptizing 4 people! My joy in this gospel is full! Jan 21, 2019 Today I will be better than I was yesterday. Today we headed to big Bagua like any normal p-day, we played soccer for a long time and I’m getting pretty good. I always feel so guilty for cheating on football, but it’s the only sport we can play here! Well then, we went out to eat and it was really good! It was chicken and rice, but with french fries! We came back to Chica and we studied a little and went out to teach lessons, that was rough. No one was home so we went to visit Jacory, at this point I feel she is not trying. I will say Russell M. Nelson is the prophet. Jacory who is the prophet_ uhhh word of wisdom_ and its like that for an hour-long lesson. But we are just really patient with her and re-explain things as much as she needs. Rainy Night Video Jan 14, 2019 Today we stayed in the good Bagua and played soccer and butts up with E. Walker and Salles! Oh it was so much fun! I kicked the soccer ball over the church and the houses and we had to go find it, but we got it back! Afterwards we came to our room to play Uno, and we ate lunch with the mother of Moses. She is such a great cook, not as good as dad though! Haha oh I miss steak! My missionary package is the website for the easy gifts for missionaries I just called E. Walker and he said his mom will send him one every now and then. After the confusion with the last one I thought you would like this mom. Jan 7, 2019 Today we got up at 6 to clean again, we then headed to Bauga Grande, we had zone conference and right now me and E. Espinosa have the highest goal for the month and bring 4 souls unto Christ! we then went out and played soccer and i scored probably 5 times, it was a good day! then we went to queen burger and had lunch! we ended the trip to Bauga with that, and i ran out of money for the month.. i learned im really bad with money! haha but i have some left over from home so i will use that and make a plan for next month to be better! we headed back to the good Bauga and in the car E. Walker asked what i did when i did the interchange with E. Montellanos, because one of their investigators had a flesh eating disease on his legs and he has been going to the hospital for years trying to slow it down before it spread through his whole body. Jan 1, 2018... 2019 Today was a really good day! We woke up and cleaned the room at 6 so we could have time to get haircuts, shower, and eat breakfast, before we went to Big Bagua. We played volleyball at the church, and it was so fun! Afterwards we played Uno for an hour! It’s the only game president allows us to play, so we play a ton! Then it started, the pain of satisfaction... we went to a restaurant and me and E. Huff went in 50-50 on a massive plate of chicken steak and a basket of fries, and literally it was a basket. It was about 56 soles which is a lot since we only get 100 for the month. I started to hit the wall when eating it, and E. Norman pressured me into keep going, and we finished the Entire. Family.
