February 3rd-8th

Today was an amazing day! The whole morning, I was BEAT! I had to clean and get ready to give a presentation to the zone, and I was not feeling it... we went to the zone plan and my companion literally lead it all, and at the end I gave my 2 cents. We went out for ice cream and that was really nice! came back to the room to play cards [uno] and I went and took a nap while all the others were playing. I felt like Toby McGuire in the spiderman after he got bit by the spider and went home to sleep. Well, after my super nap we went to call the family, and today I had an amazing conversation with my dad. He helped me a ton to charge up my batteries and put me back in line. He helped me see the work I’m doing here and to refocus on what was important. he used an analogy from one of my wrestling matches. He mentioned one of my hardest matches but because I was not a very good wrestler every match was one of the hardest matches, but in the end, we had the same match in mind. Honestly writing out that experience it was not such a big thing but to me it felt so refreshing to see that I was on the same page as him. I don't know if it’s the culture or language, but I feel very misunderstood a lot. Today my dad was a saint! I love you Dad goodnight

Well today was a great day; we had an interchange with the elders of Kennedy. I was with Elder Wills, he's a really good elder with only 6 months in the mission. We had a few really good lessons and now they have 2 more people who are going to get baptized this month on the 14th. I slept in elder campanas bed and let me tell you, it was the best night sleep I’ve had in a long time! Ha-ha! I love you good night

Today was a good day, we visited Roxana who’s a new convert and inactive. She was either very distracted or high... later we taught some more people but honestly not much occurred today. We then had llaves alenadas which is like aligned keys, in little words it is a meeting with the stake president and with the president of the mission. Also, today was the first time I heard the president say a prayer and it was really good. I love you good night!

Well today was a good day, we visited a family who has just lost their sister, we gave them blessings and prayed with them. We are also in the process of moving rooms, and we found an amazing room that is huge and expensive! It is on the 4th floor and has a 360 windows around it! Later we taught Manuel who is training to be a pilot and is super smart, he's like Steve Stewart or Trask Bailey. Our pench this morning also made us pancakes this morning and it was the first time in about a year since I had pancakes with maple syrup!! Such a successful day I love you good night

Well the week is flying by, today we had a good day full of many blessings. We were able to find some new investigators and also invite them to be baptized. Well here in the mission we can’t buy soda, so we had a member accompanying us and the whole time we were asking him to buy one for us! It was his first time with us and I bet it will be the last because we were pretty annoying! Ha-ha-ha we were also teaching someone today and he said she was sick so we told here if she just cuts rice, chicken, and bread out of her diet she will get better. That’s like 90 percent of the Peruvian diet! Ha-ha-ha I love you good night

Well today was an awesome day, we found a family that is so perfect! We had an amazing lesson with them and it was such an answer to my prayers! Honestly we had so many lessons and new investigators today thanks to God for answering my prayers. A girl tried kissing me today and I think I offended her by saying no... honestly it was so much fun while I was in the streets talking with my companion. I love you good night!
