January 13th- 19th

I now have 16 months in the mission. I have learned many things, both temporal and spiritual. The biggest and best thing I have learned is how to comprehend the plan of salvation. In his plan, we can see where we come from, what we are doing here on earth, and what will be our reward after this life. Our time in the premortal life was an exciting time, where we had this plan presented to us, and we used our agency to come to this earth. Leaving God's presence was hard, we had the comforts and riches to last us an eternity. But we chose to follow this plan because we knew the rewards and blessings after his life were worth the struggle.  Now we are here on the earth, some struggling more than others. We have temptations of every size, drugs, sex, lying, greed, and the list goes on. We are here on earth not to see how successful we can because but to see how dedicated we are to fulfill the commandments. GOD DOESN'T WANT TO SEE OUR SUCCESSES; HE ONLY WANTS TO SEE OUR SACRIFICES. Here we came to earth to receive our beautiful bodies, of every shape and size. We are placed into families to help us grow, spiritually, mentally, and socially. The family is the building block of his plan because they are the ones who will come with us after this life. After our death we will resurrect and receive our bodies in a state of immortality, which means they will be without imperfections. We receive our judgments and the prize! Where if we lived according to the commandments, we will live with God in a state of never ending happiness. where we will be raised up in the last days to dwell in the presence of God WITH OUR FAMILIES, and we will become heirs of everything God has! I know this plan to be true! I know that this reward is bigger and better than anything we could ever have in this life! I testify that this reward will be better and better, depending on how many of you are there with me. I love you and pray that you will arouse your faculties and experiment on your faith in Christ and follow his example. I  leave these thoughts with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Today was a fun day, we played soccer with the assistance and the secretaries. They were almost all on the same team, so it was ugly... let’s just say we did not have to keep score to see they were kicking our butts! We changed up teams and it went smoother. We later went to Modelo so we could buy glasses and cut our hair. Let’s just say we clean up real nice! Ha-ha-ha we came home showered up and went to talk with the family. We then had 3 awesome lessons to end the day, one was with a grandma and her daughter, the other was with two teenagers, and the last was with Wilmer and Lady. Wilmer is 46 and Lady is 22... but we don't judge here! He's a chef and has a really big heart, where he wants to be closer to God and to better his life. Also, he loves to cook us food every time we visit him. I love you, good night

Well today we had another interchange and I went with Elder Johnson, he is so awesome! We talked so much in English and about everything! At one point in the day he had to go to the bathroom, so we ask the member who was with us if we could use his bathroom. Well it was just the pot in the middle of a duck farm! It was so funny to see his face when he saw the circumstance. We also taught a group of girls, who were not to sly about how they hit on us. but they accepted an invite to be baptized! woohoo! it was a really fun interchange! I love you good night

Well I was so tired today! I was really dragging feet, but we did have a lot of lessons! We filled out the money paper which is called the Arqueo which in English is the R.K.O. so I kind of felt like a wrestler. Ha-ha! Nah, I'm just kidding but we did misplace a LOT of money.... I wanted to cry. Then I saw I accidentally spilled some beans... sorry everyone who was part of that. Oh, and right this moment I just ate some REALLY HOT FOOD! OUCH!!!! I love you good night

Well today was a really good day. We had many opportunities to help people, like we gave a blessing of health, along with other acts of service. Edwardo is also preparing for his baptism and I really think he's going to get to his goal for this 24! We had a lot of new investigators and we also had a family night in the church. It was a lot of fun, but it gave me fear, we played musical chairs and one kid almost got a concussion. But we did get to meet two new people, so that was amazing! I love you good night

Well another excellent day, we had a visit with someone named Siomara. She is amazing! She understood so well, had great questions and the spirit was so strong in our lesson. I called her tonight to verify if she read the part of the Book of Mormon that we had left and she said yes and that she loved it! We also invited Maximo to be baptized this 8 of February and he said no. But baby steps will get him there! And Edwardo is on the right course for his baptism! I love you and good night.

Well Eduardo does not want to get baptized this week... but we did have another visit with Siomara and she is so amazing! She is 19 and from the jungle. She came down so she could visit her family and today she came to church and she asked me if we could baptize her before she has to go back to college. We explained that the process is a little longer than 3 days but in my heart I said it was not impossible... so she will go back and get baptized! What a wonderful lesson we had with her!! I love you and good night
