September 2nd-8th


2 de Septiembre
Well today was a good day, we woke up and cleaned a bit then went to Chiclayo to have a plan of zone. It went really well, one of my zone leaders is LO MAXIMO! He is really excited and has the greenie energy. We put some good goals to do better here in the zone, because there is not a ton of success here, but that means there is a lot of room for growth! We then went and played soccer, Elder Tituana had a change so he is now a zone leader close by so he played soccer with us! We got a missionary from Oregon so now I’m not the only one! He’s cool has a real unique laugh, afterwards we went to Tottus and bought food, and I had a Mcflurry! I loved it! thanks mom! I love you good night

Well today was a good day, we went to Chiclayo and had district council and I was giving the class part and the zone leader who is almost done with his mission stands up, walks to the front and I said... yeah, lead it. Because I wanted to hear what he had to say. Well he talked for about 20 minutes, about everything, but by the end it was the ugliest most confusing lecture, of nonsense. And after all of it I just asked what is your purpose of this lecture, he said I don’t know and sat down. And I had no idea how to tie it into the lesson, or what to think of it all. But then we came back to Pimentel and had an excellent day. The rest of victor’s family will be getting baptized here soon. Got to enjoy the blessings of God today I love you and good night.

4'5 de Septiembre
Well we had another baptism interview, and the kid wants me to baptize him as well... he was at the baptism when I baptized Sylvia and he wants me to come back to baptize him as well. But these last two days other than that have been fine. My companion found out about the changes early so he knows he is leaving and for that he has been super trunky... but I also know what’s coming for me! I love you good night

Well today was really difficult, I don’t know why but I have not been sleeping well so I was super tired today? I fell asleep at lunch, so I came back to the room and took a nap. Which yeah is against the rules, so I repented and I know God knows the desires of my heart? But afterwards I was feeling good; none of our persons with interest were home. But like life is going good, I only have one purpose, one objective, and it’s to bring people to Christ. I love you good night

7 de Sept
Well today was a little weird, we don’t have people to teach in the mornings so we just go out swinging like mad men. We talked to some great people but they all said that they have time in the afternoons... RIP.  Because my companion knows he’s leaving the area, he was about to take the money for the next half of the month and order himself pizza from a fancy restaurant. It took about all of my strength not to kill him. So i just reminded him that it’s not just HIS money and reminded him that we have food for the month. Let’s just say right now he’s cooking dinner. He is an amazing elder, and I have learned so much from him this change. They say every companion you have holds a quality your future spouse will have, well with some of the companions I have had so far my goal is not to get divorced in the first year of our marriage. Ha-ha naw I’m kidding. Tonight we went to Chiclayo because another person I was interviewing asked me to come back and baptize him. I don’t know if this is super common but it does feel weird. It was awesome and it was really fun! I love you good night.

What a day! We got up, shined our shoes, ate French toast and headed out; we passed by a few people to remind them about the church. Well we got to the church and two families that we have been teaching showed up! It was [genea] or awesome in other words. then after church a member came up to us and said h sister in law wants to get married... WHAT AN AMAZING MILAGRO!! Missionaries have been teaching her for years and the only obstacle was the marriage! Then Wayne is the gringo who lives here and I try to translate the talks and lesson for him, that’s so freaking hard! He has been showing a lot of progress as well!

Nov 14, 2018 I have scripture study right now so I will type fast! Today we went to the temple and did an endowment session in Spanish! I still love it! This place is awesome! After the temple we had 4 hours of free time so I put on my people clothes and it was the first time I have worn jeans and a t'shirt in a month! so everyone was super shocked to see me! Huff got another package, he got root beer and Coke I asked for some but he dodged my questions. I love you guys goodnight! Nov 15, 2018 Today was a nice day! Typical eggs for breakfast and chicken and rice for lunch and dinner. Physical activity time we played volleyball and that was really fun! I am really loving the scriptures right now! I am flying out to the field soon and I am really excited! A girl from my mission says she lives there and I asked how the city was and she said it's not that great and it's super hot... but the people are amazing! hahaha I am excited! I love you guys and hope you stay safe ...

Feb 17th-23rd

17 de Feb Well today we said our goodbyes to everyone, and it was a good healthy goodbye. Later we went and talked with our families and I received a lot of revelation while talking with my awesome mom! We came to the conclusion that you can only get mad when you fail to complete your part of anything, but we should not get mad if the cards don't fall our way. In other words, don't get mad about things out of your control. Later we went to the offices and I met my new companion Elder Gonzalez. He's from Paraguay and he's really cool. We are opening up a zone, so we have no room, no cook, and nowhere to wash our clothes. However, the Milagros are seen everywhere. We found a room, slept with our assistants, and ate pizza.  Elder Tituana my favorite companion and Elder Alvarado were also sleeping in the assistant’s room with us. We found a cook! Nov 26, 2018 Today was a 2 ice cream kind of a day, first I apologize for any spelling mistakes, the Spanish computers here say everything is spelled wrong. haha second I know why Peruvians are the worst and the best drivers, after September their are no laws on the roads so its grand theft auto in this place! people are going point A to B and they do not care how they get there! Today started with soccer with the whole zone so I saw huff and 3 other gringos and was able to speak English! It was so nice! We beat the Latinos in soccer.. pretty proud of that! I got sun burned pretty bad, kind of surprised it didn't happen sooner. Then we went to go get ice cream, awesome! We had dinner at our cook's house, I say cook because I can't spell her actual title, but it's nothing glorious. haha they went home and we went to email, but no one has computers here so we have to go to this computer place and it's weird, all the Latinos play Fortnite. but we ran out of internet ...
