Today was an awesome day! We had district council and Elder Bourne taught it, he has 3 months in the mission but grew up speaking Spanish so he is way far ahead than all of the other gringos when they first started. Elder Bourne finished his training and now he’s training Elder Miller. Afterwards we had an Intercombio, I asked them why they thought I was having the Intercombio and I told them president called and he is really concerned about them. I could tell their hearts fell so far into their stomachs it about hit their butt, they were so scared. I told them it was a joke and I actually wanted to just see how things were going in the area. We got back to the room and it’s the first Intercombio Elder Miller has had so I showed him the do’s and don’ts. We read the rule book for missionaries and we had a conversation about like this--
Elder Miller- It’s so nice we can call our families every Monday!
Me- Elder Miller... we cannot call our families on p-days.
Elder Miller- What??!!
Me- DOES ELDER BOURNE CALL HIS FAMILY TOO??!!
Elder Miller- Uhhh i don’t know!
Me- How do you not know?!
Elder Miler- I DONT KNOW!
Me- DOES HE HAVE A HEADSET ON
Elder Miller- I’M NOT SURE!
Me- Naw I’m just kidding! Ha-ha
Then he just starts laughing and was a little annoyed, but he did call the zone leaders and talked about how much he loved the interchange. It was a good day, and I love you good night.

Well busy week and month here in first de Mayo. We have been busy with lessons and organizing the room and files... things like that. This week has not been anything more; my cook has been making thee best pizza and lasagna that I have ever eaten this year! Well today we had a face to face with our mission president and it went really well! I liked it a lot. The Elders from Jayanca said that ALL of my converts are inactive... I felt so bad. Well as I was sitting and pondering how I could have done better, or that if all the people I baptize will go inactive I just had to dwell on the fact that I did my part. More than anything I’m sad Noelia is not going to church. After the face to face president was calling me back to him and said Elder me like mucho su corta de cabello. He liked my haircut, and I understand because I do look great right now, but more than anything it changed my mood completely! I love my mission president and so happy to have him as my president.
Sorry for not writing much this week but I love you and good night.

Well today was an awesome day, we went and had plan of zone and we had a nice council of how we can do better in the mission. Elder Allred is my zone leader and he has one cambio more than me. He is an awesome Elder! Afterwards we played football American and some volleyball. It was AMAZING! We got done and the Elders from Kennedy came and had lunch with us and went to talk to their families with us as well. So it was really nice. We taught Maic, his mom died for like 5 minutes during the lesson but she’s good now and in the hospital. We then went and taught the ward missionaries and they are straight PILAS!! Which means super excited to do the work! I love you good night

Well we had a busy day today, it started with Alejandro. He broke up with his GF so he can get baptized but he is still drinking and smoking. Baby steps.

Well today was a good day, we woke up early so my companion, me, and the other elders could go and play Frisbee at the church. It was fun but I don’t think any of us are going pro... we did not have many lessons but Fabrizzio had his baptism interview and he passed. Not a big shocker, he is really smart! We are having a lot of visits with our ward missionaries so that’s been amazing! They are so awesome, I love having ward missionaries. I love you good night

Well the president of Peru died this week so there are no laws here. Literally you could kill someone and get away with it. Other than that we had a good day, I’m close to my one year point and I’m far behind all of my goals... so that stressed me out a bit today. But other than that I’m doing great. We had not many lessons but the lessons we had were really good ones! I do not have much time, I love you and good night

Today was an excellent day, we had two awesome visits with some people then we went to the other area to do a baptism interview and it was really good as well. She knew everything and was super happy to have the opportunity to be baptized. Afterwards we went to the church to get things ready for the baptism of Fabrizzio, he is the one who is extremely smart. After this we had a missionary night, which was really fun and there were a lot of friends and family who came to participate as well. So I am happy it was successful. I love you good night

Well today was a great day, i was super tired all day so conference was a fight! My eyes felt so heavy listening to the talks in Spanish. A great part about conference that I liked a lot was listening to Jeffery R Holland. He always has amazing talks. As the translator started  to translate his the testimony he almost started to cry so I thought that was cool. In the afternoon session I slept through it. We went out teaching afterwards and we had nothing, no one was home, just knocking doors. Like i always say, knock on doors until they stop opening, then talk to people in the street, if there is no one in the streets, do service, if there is no service opportunities, visit the members. So we went to a member’s house to use their bathroom and see if they knew anyone close by. They said that Maic (mike= someone) who we have been teaching has desires to be baptized. So we went there and when he opened the door and said oh what a surprise! I said we came here because I could smell cake. He looked at me like i was crazy and we laughed. In the next 15 minutes we taught the restoration and he now has a date for the 26 of Octubre! He then invited us to TRES LECHES! It’s a type of cake that is above the kings of the earth. I was just joking about the cake and how I could smell it, but he actually had cake and now everyone thinks I have super powers! It was a good night, I love you good night

Well another awesome conference general. I loved it so much, especially when the women started singing a child’s prayer!  Also the talks by Elder Uchtdorf and Elder Peter M. Johnson! But as always Russell M. Nelson had an amazing talk with an extraordinary promise at the end! Wow, goose ‘bumps...
We left conference general and had a meeting with our ward missionaries, we talked about everyone who has been progressing and how we can better help them. We had a long lesson with Maic and Jhair two friends who want to get baptized this month. They are 18 and 19 years old and the birthday of Maic is tomorrow. I knew tomorrow was a birthday I just didn’t know who! hahahaha I love you and good night
