Feb 11, 2019
Be better today than yesterday.
Today was an awesome day! We got up and had breakfast then went shopping, I spent 8 soles on floss... that is the equivalent of 8 dollars! For dental floss! So, 20 soles of my 100 this month was floss and deodorant. Then we came to the room and cleaned it really well, went and typed our families and had another free lunch! It’s an inactive member who owns a restaurant. We took a cat nap and headed to Motupe for a district meeting, that was a joke. With changes in companionships today the Elders were not focused. We came back and got ready to go teach and found a woman and 7 kids who are interested in the church! We have a lesson with them tomorrow! Great day I love you goodnight!

Better today than yesterday.
Today was another good day, we are fasting again for our investigators, that is when we don’t eat or drink for 24 hours as a testimony to heavenly father of how bad we want success. Its going well, the only down side is my last meal was a massive fish. I eat it a lot here, but I still don’t like it. I am also working on a project to sew buttons on my shirts near the bottom and sew straps on my pants so I can button my shirts into my pants, and they won’t come untucked! Memorizing the lessons is probably a better use of time... good day today I love you good night!

Better today than yesterday.
Wow today was amazing! We were so in tune to the spirit at every turn today! I was speaking my best Spanish yet and our visits and contacts showed just how well we were working together! Before we ended our fast it was a long painful day, 95 degrees and no water I was about to call it short! But we pushed through and the blessings of heaven were poured out upon us! What a great day! I love you and good night

Better today than yesterday.
Well back to back great days! We had many lessons where we thought we had lost our investigators entrust, they started saying excuses, rambling about stuff, and just pulling away from the lessons or commitments but every time we bore our testimonies and taught them about the blessings they receive when they obey commandments and follow through with commitments, they were back on track! I love this church and I love you good night!

Be better today than I was yesterday.
I don’t know how moths are not extinct, they fly towards the light, turn it off they fly towards the sun. Well today was a good day and we were very in tune with the Holy Ghost! We would walk by a door and one would say let’s try this door and someone would rush us in to their home eager for the lesson and get us refreshments! We contacted to over 50 people this week and we have a baptism for next Saturday! Things are looking good! we do a lot of service for this member, and probably the only person in Peru who will except service offers. We sort these beans, she has 15 gallons of beans and we sort the ones with holes and the ones that are clean. It’s not the most tedious job I have ever done... thanks mom and dad. But it’s good to do work that requires no brain power! Overall a great day I love you good night!

Better today than yesterday.
Today was good, we contacted a lot of people thanks to me, and had a few lessons but from the start of the day my companion was complaining about how tired he was and how he did not want to work. That made me upset, but I was willing to look- work past it but by about 9:20 tonight I’m pretty tired of all of it, hope tomorrow is better. Christopher also said he did not want to get baptized but we half way talked him back into it. Good night I love you

Better today than yesterday.
We had no investigators at church today, not even Christopher. Me and my companion had a heart to heart, and we are working better together, we talked about why no one would come to church and maybe that we were having quantity contacts and invites instead of quality. We changed this way of working today and I feel it’s going to be a better week! My companion said when he gets home, he is going to go contacting for a wife, knocking doors, and excepting references! I thought it was really funny! Also here in Peru they love to party, anytime, anywhere! They will blast music at 9 am on a Tuesday or like right now. It is a party and I can hear the music loud and clear with all windows and doors shut and the party is 2 blocks away! The down side is it has not stopped in 2 days! Also, in other news we contacted a man and he knew where we lived... he is really nice but was like yeah if I have any problems I’ll come knock on your door. He lives close to our room so hopefully that’s how he knows. But me and my companion look at each other and he told us our address. Which in the mission we don’t give out to anyone because a lot of the anti-church live around here, and it’s not a need to know thing for people. I love you good night!

Nov 14, 2018 I have scripture study right now so I will type fast! Today we went to the temple and did an endowment session in Spanish! I still love it! This place is awesome! After the temple we had 4 hours of free time so I put on my people clothes and it was the first time I have worn jeans and a t'shirt in a month! so everyone was super shocked to see me! Huff got another package, he got root beer and Coke I asked for some but he dodged my questions. I love you guys goodnight! Nov 15, 2018 Today was a nice day! Typical eggs for breakfast and chicken and rice for lunch and dinner. Physical activity time we played volleyball and that was really fun! I am really loving the scriptures right now! I am flying out to the field soon and I am really excited! A girl from my mission says she lives there and I asked how the city was and she said it's not that great and it's super hot... but the people are amazing! hahaha I am excited! Feb 17th-23rd

17 de Feb Well today we said our goodbyes to everyone, and it was a good healthy goodbye. Later we went and talked with our families and I received a lot of revelation while talking with my awesome mom! We came to the conclusion that you can only get mad when you fail to complete your part of anything, but we should not get mad if the cards don't fall our way. In other words, don't get mad about things out of your control. Later we went to the offices and I met my new companion Elder Gonzalez. He's from Paraguay and he's really cool. We are opening up a zone, so we have no room, no cook, and nowhere to wash our clothes. However, the Milagros are seen everywhere. We found a room, slept with our assistants, and ate pizza.  Elder Tituana my favorite companion and Elder Alvarado were also sleeping in the assistant’s room with us. We found a cook! Nov 26, 2018 Today was a 2 ice cream kind of a day, first I apologize for any spelling mistakes, the Spanish computers here say everything is spelled wrong. haha second I know why Peruvians are the worst and the best drivers, after September their are no laws on the roads so its grand theft auto in this place! people are going point A to B and they do not care how they get there! Today started with soccer with the whole zone so I saw huff and 3 other gringos and was able to speak English! It was so nice! We beat the Latinos in soccer.. pretty proud of that! I got sun burned pretty bad, kind of surprised it didn't happen sooner. Then we went to go get ice cream, awesome! We had dinner at our cook's house, I say cook because I can't spell her actual title, but it's nothing glorious. haha they went home and we went to email, but no one has computers here so we have to go to this computer place and it's weird, all the Latinos play Fortnite. but we ran out of internet ...
