Better today than yesterday!

Today we went to Lambejeque to have a last-minute zone meeting, there we found out that we had the most success in this month than we have had in the last 45 months! That was amazing! Then we headed back to Jayanca. We ate lunch and talked a little with our families. This is new so I have many problems with it. Then we got haircuts and went out to teach. My companion is really depressed today so that was difficult. Hopefully he will feel better. I love you good night

Better today than yesterday.

Well today was a ride! The district leaders called early this morning to have a district meeting, so we drove 2 hours round trip and got back to the room at 12. He also said he wanted to do an inner change today, but we needed to do a planifacation seminar and with that we had no time. But we ended up having a district meeting, rushing back to do the planification seminar, washing some clothes because we forgot to do it yesterday, then I headed to Motupe to do the interchange. It’s pretty nice here! We taught this kid. He is 21 years old and by the end of the lesson he was just weeping saying he wanted to change his life and be baptized and serve a mission! That was really unexpected for this guy who had tattoos and some explicit clothing! Ha-ha well this is my day! I love you good night!

Better today than yesterday.

Today was alright, we finished our inner change and headed back to Jayanca. My companion is really sick and called president to go home and heal, he has been really depressed about this decision. President said no and got him a doctor, he is feeling much better and happy once again! but now I’m not feeling well... so I’m going to go to bed early tonight. Good night

Well i called sister Balderrama and it turns out I have had a stomach infection for 3 weeks. I got up and puked, stomach and head are killing me, then went back to bed until 6ñ00 PM. I took a few occasional trips to the bathroom and ate some saltines. Quite a rough day. The whole 9 yards. We did make a trip to the pharmacy to get some medicine. I’m still in pain so going to bed early again. Good night I love you!

Better today than yesterday.

Well tonight had kind of a plane crash ending and that I won’t go into, but I am so grateful to be out here and teaching these people in Peru! We helped a family move today and the service was so refreshing! My body still aches from the infection, but I was able to get out of bed and go to work! We did not have much success today but I’m grateful for my loving friends and family back home who are always encouraging me to keep working hard! You guys are awesome! Goodnight I love you!

Better today than yesterday.

Today was a much better day, but nothing too exciting. We ran out of visits today because either people were not home or did not want to hear us. So, at about 7.30, we had no idea who to visit, and we had called around, but no one was free. So, we visited the bar guy who always wants to talk about Trump with me, he is like Eric Felckly and Seth Shultz mixed. He is quite the character. Well we invited him to baptism and he accepted so that was awesome! He was falling asleep again during the lesson so maybe he was not completely attentive, but he seemed excited! Today we also washed clothes because we ran out again, and apparently, I did it wrong because now I have no skin on the tops of my fingers and they hurt really bad! My pench keeps making fish... I was fine eating it, but now it’s an everyday thing and I do not know why she hates me! JK she does not hate me. I think... it was a good day today. I love you goodnight!

Better today than yesterday.

Today we went to church and had 3 investigators assist so that was nice! Overall this month our lessons were few, and all around not a very productive week. we did do our part, with obstacles in our companionship, and health it was rough. So, I have just been trying to get through today as we had a family say no to the third baptism invite. Tomorrow is super p-day so all the missionaries in and near Chiclayo are going to meet up together and have a FUN ACTION-PACKED DAY! Honestly, I’m finding it hard to be excited for tomorrow 1-- because I did not tell President’s wife, I was sick for 3 weeks and I told President. I used Google translate for some emails to him. 2-- our numbers were low. I would rather spend a day to raise them, than play games and tell all the elders how awesome my area is doing. Hopefully by morning this mind set will change! I love you good night

Today I learned I need to buy a head set to talk with you guys! Dad your joke about pretty good for a RT was so funny I laughed about it all day! Please, don’t change! Yeah I got to the internet and paid for the two hours, then I sat down and pooped myself... this strict rice and chicken diet is not good for me. Also, I don’t think you put the camera in my box, because it was still boxed up with only a craftmanship dad has. They did not take anything else and the seal was still there... but if they took it, I’m glad someone is enjoying it, or it went right up their nose. Go to the temple, repent, and I will call this week with better equipment, so it won’t be so frustrating for us! Dad I’m praying you lose weight with no soda and portion control. You can eat crap food like ice cream, but just less. You might not be full, but you are stronger than your mind! I’m here learning a ton, most of which is way out of my comfort zone, I was perfectly content with talking English and communicating just fine with people. You can do hard things! 220 by 2020! Mom do what you love! Mary stay close to the rod, anywhere astray is a dark and hard to navigate path, look at the decisions of your friends and learn the good and the bad from them! Mitchell continue being a missionary in every way possible! you might not be set apart, but you can be a part! The commandments of me! This mission is rough and it’s strict. Everyone here is really competitive with the rules and try to catch you disobeying so they can tell president. My mission president was in the 70s and was almost an apostle, but he does not know English. He is so powerful and wise!!! I am EXACTLY obedient to a T! I love you all! keep improving!
