Today was a 2 ice cream kind of a day, first I apologize for any spelling mistakes, the Spanish computers here say everything is spelled wrong. haha second I know why Peruvians are the worst and the best drivers, after September their are no laws on the roads so its grand theft auto in this place! people are going point A to B and they do not care how they get there! Today started with soccer with the whole zone so I saw huff and 3 other gringos and was able to speak English! It was so nice! We beat the Latinos in soccer.. pretty proud of that! I got sun burned pretty bad, kind of surprised it didn't happen sooner. Then we went to go get ice cream, awesome! We had dinner at our cook's house, I say cook because I can't spell her actual title, but it's nothing glorious. haha they went home and we went to email, but no one has computers here so we have to go to this computer place and it's weird, all the Latinos play Fortnite. but we ran out of internet 30 min in so that was stressful. After that all our appointments fell through, and I got angry with the language, but mama says a Spanish quad is on it's way so I'm happy! love you all goodnight!

WHAT A DAY!!!! It started like any normal day, but as we got to the park, because our cook lives like a 15 minute walk away, we ran into this woman. We started teaching her and this other woman walks up and says, "Hi gringo". not weird yet. Wl they get talking and she says I have beautiful eyes, which I do. haha but she asks if she can give m a kiss on the cheek and my companion was like noo, then she asked if I wanted a black wife, i.e. her, and he was telling me to marry her and take her to the states and much more! I thought it was hilarious, and like she wasn't bad looking herself. idk probably shouldn't say that. But then we taught a woman who was actually an investigator we had no records for. Afterwards I did this little Latinos English homework. To end the day we had hamburgers with chicken and papas fritas in it, with the best rice pudding I've ever had! but the best part....... the zone leaders of Jean called and said THEY FOUND MY SCRIPTURES!!!! By the grace of God! so happy! Alright goodnight gang love ya!

Nothing out of the usual today, I get a lot of harassment from the girls here so that's funny! haha and I asked my first investigator to baptism, she said she wanted a little time to think about it. She has had every lesson and comes to church every Sunday and is super receptive! We set the date for December 22, confirmed on the 23! And she has a daughter who is coming to church with her this Sunday! Her daughter is 20 and lit up when I said I'm a wrestler... and then we went and taught the guy who sounds like Sid bones from treasure planet and Arnold shwartsiger mixed, my companion said you occupy him while I teach his wife, because he's a little messed up. Love you guys! I'm headed to Chiclayo tomorrow to get a refrigerator and a water filter! So I won't write till Saturday.

The multi zone conference was sooo fun! I didn't learn a lot because it was all in Spanish, but we had pizza, SODA, and warm water to shower with! I ate a whole pizza and 1.5 letters of soda because that might be the last time for a year or so. After the conference we got on a bus at 11 at night got to our room at 7 just in time for a FULL day of proselyting and fasting in the heat... yeah today wasn't my favorite, hot, hungry, and tired. and all the other days we get offered mangos by the investigators but today for our fast it was cake and soda... not happy about that. lol jk! I know those temptations will sway in our favor with my first baptism!! She said she will think about it and get back to us Sunday i.e. tomorrow. This month, Chiclayo mission has a goal to get 305 baptisms! We met this family today that is so engaged in the lessons so I think they will get baptized eventually!

Well we continued to fast today and our investigator who is preparing to get baptized didn't show up, actually none of our investigators showed up. It made my heart sad, so we went out to the street and asked the first person we saw to come inside for church, and they said yes! That made my day! I was feeling confident with the language today, until the fireside so now I'm back to less confident. But I'm trying! I told the members I like rice pudding and now they all make it for me! I love it! The investigator agreed to get baptized on Dec 22! I'm so happy! But she said God has not answered her prayers so she's skeptical. But I got soda at that appointment so that was awesome. We are out of water and I dont know for how long, I was going to wash my pants tonight but now I can't. Never mind, they just brought us a 5 gallon bucket! By the grace of God! haha ok I'm going to go shower goodnight love you!
