Happy
New Year! As ten years of my life have come and gone, I must make a list of
goals that I will complete in my next ten years of my life…
·
2020- Finish my
mission as a full time Spanish speaking missionary for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints. Get married.. Nah- just kidding!
·
2021- Okay now is the
time, get married in the temple to someone who will always support me in my
decisions, love our kids can help me to grow spiritually and mentally every day.
My wife will have a firm testimony of the restored gospel of Christ and in the
plan of salvation. I will follow the promptings of the spirit in the search for
her so that she will be someone who humbles me.
·
2022- Have my first
child. The plan that I have about kids is 95 percent vote of my wife and 5
percent my vote… but I would like to have my first child at 22.
·
2023- Get the kid to
play football.
·
2024- Buy a house and
dedicate it as our home.
·
2025- Graduate from
college
·
2026- Serve well in my
callings and magnify all that I can do in the church.
·
2027- Have my own
company.
·
2028- 10 year reunion
for my graduation class.
·
2029- I do not know
what 29 year old people do... have another kid?
·
2030- Have my company
be self-sufficient so that I can make money while home with my family.

Today was a good day,
we went to the offices to have a non-official super P'day. It was fun, we
played volleyball, soccer, a little bit of pickle ball, and basketball. President
was there with us so that was fun! We then went to get ice cream in downtown Chiclayo
which was the first time I was there just walking the streets and not running
to do errands. We came back to the room and got ready for the proselytizing. We
went to our first visit and she was not home. Then we talked to some people
until it was time for the next visit.Afterwards we went back to the
grandparents who we had a super duper spiritual lesson with on Monday, the
lesson we had today went almost the opposite... it was an hour and a half long
and we did not lograr much. Yeah we did get to know her daughter a little
better so I'm sure we could count that as a win. But it did put me in a funk
that the lesson was not ground shaking like before... there's always tomorrow!
I love you good night

Today was a good day,
we had divisions in the afternoon and I was with Elder Hunt. He has 2 months in
the mission and speaks really good Spanish! He has awesome teachings and is a
real good elder! We had some good visits, the pickle of the day was to prove
that Christ was a prophet... well through 1 Corinthians 12.28, Ephesians 2.20,
and Ephesians 5.23-25 we were able to pull it off! We were also very blessed to
have the opportunity to teach Maximo and his daughter, we learned some personal
things from her childhood and it was good to see her open up to us! Elder Hunt
is an awesome Elder! I love you good night

Today was a really
good day, we had council of leaders in the morning which was really good! We
made plans and goals for this month and the new year! President then bought us
lunch! Woo Hoo!! score! I felt bad that we did not do better at verifying the
goals from the month before... whelp, live and learn. We had a not very fortunate
day in the service, but I know that tomorrow will be better! I love you good
night.

Today we did not have
many visits, it was super-hot and hard to focus. We did get to meet some really
nice people in the process. We did some service mounting a TV to a wall. It was
in concrete so we had to drill the holes, then put this filler in so we could
put the screws in. We got done in the 95 degree weather after about 40 minutes
of working. When we were done, we put the TV on the wall and the holes were the
wrong side and the TV fell off the wall. We caught it so it didn't break but he
then had to go and do it all over again! I love you good night.
