Well you know what day
it is! ELECTION DAY! WOOOO-WOO-WOO-WOO! Ha-ha! Nah- I'm just kidding happy
birthday mom! I love you to the moon and back. I have always loved and admired
you, your testimony, and your ability to always find some way to clean the
house just a little more! Ha-ha!
One thing I love and
admire about you are our little memories, like when you would carry me to the
car so I would wake up on an adventure, or when we would shout are you happy
H'A'P'P'Y... aliens! Ha-ha-ha! I love the time when I hated my first grade
teacher and you were more than willing to let me skip school and go shopping
with you and sometimes go to the movies. But I do think that this
rationalization may have caused some of my bad reading and spelling skills! Ha-ha!
I remember the time I looked at you and said ̈she made a kid pee himself, I’m
not going through that too!¨And you were like okay, don't go to school!̈ ̈The
endless support you give me in every hobby-sport-phase I have gone through to
give me the best success rates possible to succeed at it all! Thank you so much
for your selflessness in all that you do! I have always been impressed with
your youth, going through a time of your mom's death, going to school as a
single mother, and working to support you, Megan and your two brothers. And let's
not forget your endless loyalty to your church callings, fundraisers, work,
friends and family! I love you mom have a good night!

Today was a good day,
the advisary was working hard this morning to keep me down, but with a little
work and an awesome companion we were all 8 cylinders pumping gas, piss, and
vinegar through this area! We had so many lessons and invited everyone to be baptized.
Many were called but few were chosen. But we did track down LUCHO he's a BIG
man who has yet to marry his wife. She wants to get married so she can get baptized.
Well we begged him for the 4th time and he accepted today!! The 28th of
November they will be getting married! It was a very successful day I love you
goodnight!

Well today was a sweet
and sour buffalo chicken. We only had one lesson. But this lesson was amazing! He
is Andre and he has 15 years, his dad is an inactive member so he knows a
little about the church. He had come to church Sunday so we took down his
measurements and his direction and visited him today. We taught lesson one and
he accepted a baptism date on the spot! Also in his prayer he asked to be
guided and prepared for his baptism date it was unreal! After that we had a few
lessons with part member families, but the non-members did not show up so it
was just a day of family home evenings... I love you good night

Well today was a good
day, we did not have many lessons but the people we visited were amazing! We
found a family and they are so nice! I don't know their names but it's always a
pleasure to visit them. We had the missionary night and the first counselor who
usually is in charge of it did not show up. So we had about 12 investigators
watching us try and jimmy rig some sort of hocus pocus games together and I’m
sure it was a sight to see. I love you good night

Today was a great day,
we visited a mom today and we were explaining the restoration. She told us that
she had before visited with missionaries like us, about 4 years ago. She said
that she was going to the market and she saw the missionaries and discovered
they were gay. Well we explained that that can't be true, and it was really
awkward. Later in the day we had the assistants come over and have an
interchange with us. Yeah I was a little nervous but also really excited. Later
in the night we saw someone who was having trouble starting his motorcycle, so
we tried push starting it... that did not work. Later he asked if we could try
to give it a start, I looked at Elder Harbertson and he was like yeah hop up
there! Two pumps and that baby lit up!

Well today was a long
and busy day, we first went to the offices to pick up supplies, but the
secretaries were in a meeting so we had to wait a while. We finally got the supplies
and i got my letter from mom! I love it. We raced from the offices to the
capilla of Kennedy so we could lead their district council. We got there very
late but regardless we lead the council. We then gave them the supplies (books
of Mormon, cards, pamphlets) so our poderoso zone can keep it up! We then came
back to the room to hook up our new water filter, the old one had green mold
growing on the inside.... afterwards he had divisions where we changed
companions for only part of the day. I was with Elder Garcia and it was really
fun! I love you good night

What an amazing day! Well
we HAD a packed full day of lessons but the secretaries called and we had to go
do the forms for the money. That took all morning, but it was fun because I got
to see President and Sister Balderrama also the other Elders at the offices. And
the best part is I GOT MY CHRISTMAS PACKAGE! Well the new shoe inserts were
amazing! I loved the Christmas decorations. The pants fit like a two fingered
glove and it made my whole week! Thank you so much mom and dad. We then went to
another meeting with the elders in the zone and it was really fun. We had an
amazing and really powerful lesson today with some 7th day Adventists, and they
understood the restoration really well! We then ended the day with a meeting
with the stake president about how to get the churches here whipped into shape!
So I loved today, and I love you good night.

Well today was the
weirdest and the busiest day I’ve had so far. It started with a few lessons in
the morning, and then I wanted to fill the holes in the bottom of my shoes with
something so rocks did not keep getting stuck in them. The first plan was hot
glue, but my companion convinced me to melt crayons into them. Well we bought a
pack of crayons and 3 lights and filled my shoes with crayons. It did not go
smoothly, hot glue would have been better! Then we found termites in our door,
so we took it off the wall to try and swap it with our back door, well some
drunk monkey stripped all the screws in the back door so we just put tape over
the holes in the bathroom door. We then had an intercombio with Villa Hermosa, I
was with Elder Johnson who is really good Elder. He has 4 weeks in the mission
and is like Bishop Nelson at age 18 so we had a lot of fun! I love you good
night

Today was difficult
but also really fun, Sister Michel said she did not want to get baptized
tomorrow so that was super hard. She has all the lessons, and I know she has a
testimony. I think more than anything it was her mom saying she can't get
baptized. But afterwards we went to a FHE and it was a lot of fun. We taught
Ana and Itati about the importance of reading and praying every day, and going
to church every week. I love you good night

I know the church is
true. I testify that God is our loving heavenly father and sent us here to be
tested, receive a physical body, and to prepare to return to his presence. I
know the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring us happiness and joy beyond earthly
measure. I know the work the missionaries do is not in vain and that we are
bringing about the gathering of Israel. I know my family loves me, and all that
read my emails too. I honestly love each and every one of you. I have a firm
faith and testimony in the plan of salvation, I know the importance of finding
a wife with the same or better comprehension of the exaltation. I have a testimony
of the importance of a worthy temple marriage to join the families together
until after this life. I know that the keys of the priesthood were restored to
Joseph Smith to perform this work and to bring back the power and authority of
God to give us our salvation. I love you and good night
17 de Noviembre
Well today was very
difficult but I saw a lot of milagros! The people we had promised to show up
did not. The good thing today is we found a family amazing! We had two new
members come with us to teach and we got our area folder updated. I finished
off my sour patch kids, and I feel like my grammar is getting better! It
doesn't help much that my companion is starting to get a little trunky and is
talking a lot of slang.[ ya solly, bien chevere hay. que dices di? hay chamo
hay di.] I'm trying to help him to better. Ha-ha but I did have a very cool experience,
we talked with this man today who had the bible memorized! He had me and my
companion beat with the amount of knowledge he had. There were some flaws in
his logic and point of view, but he knew so much about everything! I have more
than a year down here studying and teaching about the teachings of the Bible,
along with teaching with people who know a lot and this preacher was smart. He
said he is really good friends with the bishop in another ward so he was well
prepared for our point of view and knew what we were bringing. It was good to
know I’m not the best. I was getting a little cocky! Ha-ha just kidding I love
you good night!
