Today was a good day, although it was my first day in the mission without a single investigator at church, we got the great opportunity to serve. We got home from church and our land lord asked if we could help take out a wall. So we got our sledge hammers and chisel and went to town on it! Afterwards we went to have a lesson but she was not home... so we went and cut corn. It was a place where they had knives and cut the corn off the husk and put it into a big bucket. They did not trust the gringo with a knife so I did it by hand. Well when they got up to move the big bucket this eagle scout took their knife so I could be like them. Well first things first the knife went right into my hand! It was not bad but it did not feel good. Ha-ha we have the 25 nights of Christmas this month so 25 family home evenings. We had a really nice FHE tonight. I love you good night

Today was a good day, we woke up and did a deep clean on the room, then we went to play soccer which was kinda sad, everyone canceled on us. So me and my companion had the whole field to ourselves and we just played American football. We then came to the room and ate bread and played Uno! I won 2 times. Then we went to teach, which ended like most nights! I love you god night

Today was a great day, I had another interchange with Elder Serrano from Mexico. He is so funny and probably my best friend in the mission as of right now. We had a very busy day and we talked with a lot of people but it was difficult to get into the house to sit down and share a lesson. However, it was a really fun day! I love you good night

Well today we ended the interchange and later we started another with proceres. They are a trio so it was a little weird, or new for me to have 2 other companions. I was with Elder Child from California and with Elder Vela from Argentina. It went really well and they were able to help me be a better missionary and to better develop a Christlike love. At the end of the night we played UNO with a return missionary and his mom and family. I love you good night

Today was a great day! We had an intercombio, AGAIN! Ha-ha! It was with the assistants and it was so nice! We taught the gospel of Jesus Christ and I have not taught it in about 3 months so it was not super good. I can only imagine what Elder Vargas was thinking of me... but I know my mom loves me which is all that matters. But my companion and the other assistant in our area was able to help one of our long time investigators overcome some fear or doubts and has recommended to be baptized this Saturday! What a MILAGRO! I was able to enjoy a lot of the time I had in my intercambio this leader and role model helped me put out my stress which i have been having and refocus on what needs to be done. I love Elder Vargas.

Today was a very special day. Sister Michael got baptized. After teaching her for my 4 months here she did it! We had an amazing day, we cleaned the font and it was so dirty. We don't have keys to get into it so we knocked out the windows and went in through there. Later while we were cleaning the church to get it ready for the baptism we had the interview. Yeah all went good but I do want to get to the best part, after the baptism a member we asked played the violin. It was amazing! Later his wife got up and said we were going to sing I love to see the temple. He played the first verse, and the second verse we chimed in and it was so beautiful! My eyes were opened to see such a connection between him and his wife and how in tune they were together.
It is a day I will never forget...
I love you good night

Happy birthday Mitchell, I will continue your notes later but I do want to comment on my day because today was a good day as well. Today we had a Christmas special in the church. First the young women sang in the choir, bow chick a wow wow... ha-ha! Naw just kidding but it was pretty bad. The sunbeams sang and it was SOOO good! Later the Bishopric passed the sacrament.... wow goose bumps! Then afterwards we had a hot chocolate and panaton. We watched a video from all of the photos of the year. We took photos and I loved church today! Michael got confirmed and she was soooo happy! I love you goodnight

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAN!!! I will get back to your notes later, today was a mix of emotions. One of my converts here went a little crazy but we also committed someone to baptism! I’ll start with the rough and get to the good, the convert here was a little upset with us. He said some hurtful things and did not want to talk to us. Later we had two family home evenings and they were so good. We taught Kiara and she wants to get baptized this 4th of enero! It felt so good to have someone say yes after so much time! I love you good night

Today fue excelente, We had no lesson but we did get to go to the offices and eat dinner with the president and his family. Then along with all of the other elders, we watched a slide show of the year and we presented the cultures of every country that is in the mission! We then received some gifts from president and went back to our rooms. Not a lot happened today but the things that happened were fun! I love you good night!
