Well today was so weird, we woke up early to go to the temple we were supposed to leave at 7:30 but no one showed up and we ended up sitting outside till 9 and we finally got there, but a temple session in Spanish is really cool! We got back super late and everything was off today due to the weird schedule, and they have hallway dividers so they can split the rooms up and they must be getting more sisters because they moved the dividers up the hall but did not tell us so our room was on the emails side and we had to take all of our stuff up stairs to a new room and because of that we missed hair cuts, and then we got roped into 2 hours of service and were super late to emails. I am really sick tonight so I am going to bed early good night! love you!

Happy Halloween! we bought al the candy out of the vending machine! Just kidding that was too expensive, but we did dress up in sheets and ties and went trick or treating! I am so grateful to be here! I have learned so much and I gave a speech to the new missionaries because I am zone leader! that went well, I told them to look at their name badge and see the name that was on there and that they represent Jesus Christ, also there is another name and it's your own. My dad always told me I could be 3 things in life.. a cheater, a liar, or a Merritt. and it's up to me what i decide to be. Same thing applies to you when you represent your family name.

I thought that went really well. I am still sick and slept most of today so I am going to go to bed! Goodnight

I do not have Ronny's email but someone tell him happy birthday for me! We usually go to Hooters around this time! So that make me miss home! haha today was better I am still getting over my sickness and my companion was a trial today, but as a zone lead I talked to the district leaders about them and their districts and me and Jones had the most mature talk and had a sincere talk about suicidal elders or depression that elders feel and how we need to be with them. I love that man! He told me his testimony that I was called of God for this group of elders and honestly I feel so at home being a leader to them and helping. One elder said I took all his stress away when I was called as zone leader and another testified of it. They are happy that someone who is funny and honest and down to earth is looking out over them! That made my day! I love you and know you are an example in the lives of others!

Well today I rode my sabretooth tiger into the celestial kingdom with my smoking hot wife, got to my physics class where I sat next to Stephen Hawking making worlds... it was a weird day. It was another Spanish fast so I didn{t speak much, but after breakfast I was studying and Huff said I didn't look good and said I should go take a nap. I went up stairs and slept for 3 hours. I feel sooooo much better! Oh my goodness Mitchell is finally home I miss him so much! Hopefully the boys played good tonight I am praying for them! My new Mexican companions are pretty great! I did 300 pushups today so that was fun! But other than that today has been pretty chill! love you, goodnight.

So I was on the toilet and all the sudden it hit me, cheese doesn't grow on trees. and that rhymed so I am happy. typical Saturday, we had an elder sick and sleeping for 3 days and he lost like 20 pounds, he looks good! well i met this kid named Dalton and hes amazing. we study in the hallway together i.e. right now. learned a lot of Spanish today! we are fasting for 24 hours not language but food. i am reading the book of Mormon cover to cover and its really funny! like lamen and lemule always murmur when they have to go into Jerusalem except when its to go get some hoes! thanks ishmale. then on the way home the bros and their new pimp daddy chicks jump their younger brother like bra you don{t let your guard down! like your brothers keep beating you, so what do you do_ oh make the playing field  4 on 1 game! well that is what i got out of it! i am heading to bed i love you goodnight

today was soo nice! i got up and had an hour scripture study which i love, then went to church and listen to the testimonies of my fellow elders. during sacrament more fireworks went off and it scared me bad! these are like 10X louder than American fireworks they shake the windows! well asides from that i am looking really good! all they feed us here is rice and chicken so i am like 190 pounds but look way bigger than i did during wrestling! but spiritually i am looking even better i am loving the book of Mormon and encourage all to read!

well today the best person in the world was born, someone i look up to so much... Abe Lincoln! hahaha just kidding happy birthday mama i love you! today i ate 3 extra ice creams for you, no one had to ask me to but i know it is what you would have wanted! hope all is well at home today i made my teacher laugh so hard he was crying! hes a tough cookie to crack so this was BIG! he asked me what i was doing while i was filing out my self evaluation sheet that hangs on the wall, and i told him every night i switch an elders sheet so its in a different spot and its hard for him to find it! ill try to send a photo of what i am talking about but it was pretty funny! still in love with the book of Mormon! should finish it this week! i had a soda and it was sooooo good, my companion had one mailed to him so i got a sip! love you and i am headed to bed!

i love teaching the gospel in Spanish, i can teach others in the most simplistic and pure form i know, due to the obvious I do not know complex doctrine in Spanish!

Nov 6th 2018

Well today I got a letter from my mission president saying he is excited to see us when we get off the plane so that was really nice! so I kid you not earlier today our co2 alarm was beeping and the thing was so loud it was giving me a headache so me and Huff took the batteries out! jk we opened the window! Here on my mission I have learned the following:

--That this shouldn't be the best two years, it should be preparation on how to live your next best 80 years

--If you divided a pie chart into 2, 10 present slices and an 80, you could characterize the best missionaries, the worst missionaries and the missionaries that reflect their companion. the reflectors are the 80 present.

--Love 4 things on your mission

1-your companion

2- The people

3-your mission president

4-'love the Lord!

--Christ would have preformed the atonement even if it only saved you, and he would have done it 1000 times over again!

--If you spell socks in English, in Spanish you are saying "thats the way it is"
